Yoga has been part of my life for over 25 years. I completed my Yoga teaching diploma through YMCAFit in 2016 and have since qualified to teach ChairYoga. Yoga helps me to feel stronger, fitter and more flexible. As a keen cyclist, I also find the benefits of yoga translate onto the bike. Yoga compliments other sports and activities such as running and cycling, helping people to stay supple and avoid injury.

I also work as a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor, using movement and exercise as an aid to rehabilitation following illness or injury. So I’m a huge advocate of the benefits of remaining active and maintaining health and well–being.

In my classes, I like to combine gentle flow sequences with some nice deep stretches to work on strength, flexibility and balance. Finishing off each class with a lovely guided relaxation. My hope is that you step off the mat at the end of a class feeling refreshed yet relaxed, that you’ve worked your body and calmed your mind.
