Spring Yoga Retreat in Rural Wales
11 – 14 March 2022, from £545
Garth Barns, Wales
Set within 200 acres of rolling farmland hills in rural Wales, Garth Barns sits nestled in unspoiled, natural beauty in the countryside surrounding the historic and pretty town of Llanidloes. Over a long weekend Ceri will guide you with 2 yoga classes a day, beginning quietly with meditation and pranayama, followed by an energising yoga asana practice. In the evenings there will be a shorter relaxing restorative yoga class to ease you into your evening.
The accommodation and two large barn conversions that house the Yoga Shala are heated from renewable biomass, and the drinking water is from the farm’s own pure spring water source. The barns surround the old farmyard with beautiful gardens, stream and an outdoor dining area for warmer days. There is also a gym, Finnish sauna and opportunity for wild swimming in the pond, along with plenty of walks in the hills and valleys right on the doorstep.
“It was truly wonderful. Everything I had hoped for, and more. Ceri’s yoga was amazing and she was professional, caring and delightful throughout. I left feeling totally relaxed and happy. I hope to repeat the experience again.”Kate
“Me and my mum had a wonderful time away at Garth Barns. Neither of us are true yogis, having both just done a course and a few classes, but it was brilliant, the food was amazing, the scenery and barns were wonderful, the swimming lake and sauna were perfect too. I can’t say enough how much we both loved it. We will definitely be back!”Clare and Kath
“Ceri is a superb instructor. I personally have a few hip issues and she helped me through the sessions making me feel very able. She has such a calming quality about her that made every session meaningful and fulfilling”Tracey
